HOT OR NOT: TRINA FEAT. MONICA - “ALWAYS”

♫ Trina feat. Monica - Always
The new track, “Always” will appear on Trina’s upcoming album, Amazin’, which is slated to hit stores May 4th.
Kelly Rowland- Smooches (prod. by Bangladesh)

Sean Garrett’s version leaked with Yung Joc awhile back, then a version with Gucci Mane & Sean G. leaked last December. Now, it's Kelly Rowland tell us how you think she did. Either way, the track officially belongs to Teyana Taylor. Whenever that comes out, being that her music career is kind of dead.
Download:Sean J ft. Jae Millz- Its Nothin

Whaddup! Here’s a track that I did with Jae Millz. The track is a real collab but was done before the Young Money days. Me and my producer Soy decided to redo it because it was slept on. This will be on the special edition of my next project dropping tommorrow, A Tree By Itself. the original version is from my last retail album, Bak2²1.

Bridget Kelly’s Tour Diary #2: Roc Star Fashion

In Bridget Kelly’s second tour diary for RapUp, she talks her on-stage ensemble while on the BP3 tour:
Hey Guys! I’m getting ready for the show tonight in Chicago—it’s going to be awesome!! I’m picking out what to wear now, and wanted to give you an idea of what I’m working with. I have a bunch of different performance outfits that I like to switch up every night; my favorite pieces are the ones I can mix & match. For instance I’ll throw on shiny disco pants with a corset top, or a mini dress with thigh-high boots…then maybe pair the boots with the disco pants on another night. But I can’t forget the final touch: dressing these looks up with big accessories, like bangles, rings, or multiple long chains. Anything that will help me shine on stage completes the look! Time is running out—catch you later!

Uncovered: Drake’s reference track for Jamie Foxx’s “Fall For Your Type”

Splash sent over this unearthed audio of Drake crooning the reference track to something he may have written for Jamie Foxx. Not if this was before or after they collaborated on “Digital Girl.”

This song Hot , but Drake should have kept it and finished to something even better but we will hear the final version with Jamie foxx in something.

Gucci and DJ Holiday put together a sequel mixtape to the recent DJ Drama tape, this one called Burrrprint 2HD, dropping April 13 (with classically absurd cover art). Tonite, the first leak debuted on Atlanta radio as well as on Shade45, but here’s the CDQ.

Foxy Brown & Nicki Minaj
These two only seem right. We’ve kept our fingers crossed on a Foxy and Kim collaboration long enough…. and with the possibility looking slim to none, who better than Onika and Inga. Confident and ballsy these two women on a track could definitely be a problem. Nicki is readying her Massive Attack and Foxy seems like she is moving the wheels on her long overdue comeback. They’re at very different stages in the games but both seasoned in their own right. Foxy has been around since we’ve been playing with Barbie and Ken (que Ain’t No N-gga) and before Nicki actually became a Barbie many simply knew her for her hardcore flows since 04’. What better way to bring females back on the throne than with hip hop’s fan favorite and one of hip hop’s greatest.
Lady Gaga Is A Coke Head

Lady Gaga is a coke head! The Telephone singer showed up with two cans of Coke in her hair used as rollers. When it comes to style Lady Gaga is freaking Mcguyver! The Coke can curls worn by Lady Gaga might be unusual but it's not her first time with Coke.
Lady Gaga was a coke addict until her father saved her from a deadly cocaine addiction. Lady Gaga recalls: 'My father is a really powerful man, a telecom guy. So he looked at me one day and said, “You’re f***in’ up, kid.” And I looked at him and thought, “How does he know that I’m high right now?”
'And he never said a word about the drugs, not one word. But he said, “I just wanna tell you that anyone you meet while you’re like this, and any friend that you make in the future while you are with this thing, you will lose. And we never talked about it again."
Lady Gaga started using cocaine in 2005 saying: "My cocaine soundtrack was The Cure. I loved all their music, but I listened to this one song on repeat while I did bags and bags of cocaine. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with me until my friends came over and said, "Are you doing this alone?" "Um, yes. Me and my mirror"."
Gaga kicked the habit after she realized she was more nervous on the drug than she was sober so she stopped. Either way the cans of coke serves as a reminder of her past.

Waka Flocka Has Been Arrested

It appears that So Icy Entertainment is having a hard time staying out of trouble. It's been reported that Waka Flocka has been arrested for violating probation. According to the Macon-Telegraph, the “O Let’s Do It” rapper is currently locked up in the Houston County Jail. As of press time the reason for his probation violation is unknown. He originally received probation for a previous arrest involving possession of a sawed-off shotgun. Hopefully Waka will stop getting into unfortunate incidents, as he just got into a fight last week.

GDC 10: New Deus Ex: Human Revolution Details
Eidos Montreal talks breakfast cereals, Detroit's cyberpunk Renaissance, and the world's most dangerous idea.
by Ryan Geddes
March 13, 2010 - If you watched the latest teaser trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, you know it's a conspiratorial tale of futuristic intrigue with a Renaissance twist (there must be something in the Montreal water supply). But the long-awaited third installment in the Deus Ex franchise goes much deeper than its dreamlike surface.
Deus Ex was a legendary PC action-RPG that broke genre conventions and wowed gamers with its scope, detail and innovation when it was released to critical acclaim in 2000. A follow-up, Deus Ex: Invisible War, continued the complex sci-fi storyline but failed to win the universal adoration of its predecessor. With Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the new Eidos Montreal development team (sans series creator Warren Spector) is going back to the original game's roots, both in terms of gameplay and setting.
Human Revolution is set 25 years before the events of Deus Ex, and players will be forced to make tough decisions about how they behave in the game world. Will they hack, sneak and cajole their way around obstacles? Will they turn their bodies into weapons?

One of the central themes of Deus Ex: Human Revolutuion is transhumanism, the concept of using biotechnology, nanotechnology, cybernetics and other emerging fields of research to extend and augment human life. The teaser trailer shows the main character, Adam Jensen, recovering from surgery. His body has various mechanical enhancements, which he says he "never asked for."
That conflict between the benefits of augmented humanity and its drawbacks is central to the storyline and feel of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It's in the dialogue, level design and even the environmental art. I sat down with art director Jonathan-Jaques Belletete at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco to talk in more detail about the game's setting, style and direction.
"If you liked what you saw [in the trailer], yesterday was just a tease," said Belletete. "The art is not just about making it pretty. It's about communicating."
Belletete said his art team sits next to the game's writers, headed by Mary DeMarle, and they consult frequently on how to tell the story both visually and literally. Belletete said the environments in Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be very detailed and that the teaser trailer holds tantalizing clues about the game world (take a closer look at the items sitting on Jensen's table).
"In Adam's apartment, there are so many details. We decided he really likes breakfast cereal. So we spent so much time just designed these cereal boxes," Said Belletete.
Adam's surroundings help tell the Deus Ex story, but the tale will also have plenty of help from cinematic sequences, all of which are rendered in-game. We don't know exactly how many cutscenes will be in Human Revolution (or how long they will be). Belletete said simply, "There will be a lot. The game needs it."

Adam will see the world through an augmented reality system that uses ocular machines to project a heads-up display onto the environment, which happens to be Detroit in 2027. In Deus Ex's imagined future, Detroit has rebounded from its long, slow slide into decay. The security company Adam Jensen works for is based there, and its owner was instrumental in bringing the city back to life. He purchased a number of the dormant automobile plants and converted them to cybernetics manufacturing facilities.
As seen in the trailer, the Detroit of the future is now a lively metropolis lit up by a sprawl of animated billboards and skyscrapers. Belletete said he and his team were inspired by cyberpunk and sci-fi masterpieces like Ghost In the Shell and Bladerunner but are not looking to mimic them.
"We can literally make something that looks just like Bladerunner," said Belletete. "But what would that create, really?"
Rather than take a photorealistic approach that attempts to approximate a sci-fi film, the developers are using tones of black and gold to paint a unique picture of the future. The harsh metallic materials of the characters' cybernetic augmentations are juxtaposed with soft tones and fabrics inspired by the Renaissance. Like that historical period, the world of Human Revolution is both a golden age of discovery and a time of great political and religious upheaval. There are those who welcome progress, and those who oppose it.
The economist and bioethicist Francis Fukuyama named transhumanism the most dangerous idea in the world in the middle of the last decade. A debate continues today about how far human modification should go and when it becomes dangerous.
"It's a viepoint that's in the game," said Belletete. "But we're making sure that we're representing both sides."
Game Director Jean-Francois Dugas has said that a player can make his or her way through the entirety of Deus Ex: Human Revolution without killing a single person. Belletete added that players can also choose to not augment their bodies if they wish.
"There's a lot of choice in the game. You can handle it like you want," he said.
We don't have a release date for Deus Ex: Human Revolution just yet, although it's scheduled to hit stores sometime this year. Make sure to head over to our in-depth Deus Ex Q&A to find out more about Eidos Montreal's latest.

Wyclef, Yele Face More Financial Woes

“Charity doesn’t get to ghetto. Everybody knows that.” – Tupac, 1991
Don’t shoot me, I’m just the messenger. It really seems Wyclef can’t catch a break in 2010. We all know of the devastation the earthquake that struck his native Haiti caused earlier this year. Then surfaced the financial “mishaps” which ‘Clef denied any wrongdoing in. Had this been 10 years ago, it would have died then. But since it’s not 10 years ago and nothing is really “secret” anymore, the legendary Haitian musician now has another set of problems to deal with. And it has to do with money, again.
According to everyone’s favorite detective, The Smoking Gun, Wyclef and Yele were using the organization’s earnings to pay for studio time. Well, rent, but who cares? Same difference.
While TSG has previously reported that the Wyclef Jean Foundation has been paying $3200 monthly to a Manhattan recording studio owned by the musician and his cousin Jerry Duplessis, accounting statements show that, in 2006, the not-for-profit group paid $65,000 upfront for that space. According to two sources, the Jean foundation’s “office” was actually a cafe table in the West 46th Street studio’s kitchen.I’m not about to sit here and crucify Wycelf because, frankly, I don’t know the whole story. But if this is true, I’m pissed because I donated money to Yele believing it was for the right cause and that my small amount of cash would help someone who actually needed it. This is why people don’t trust charity organizations in the first place. He has to do something to improve the image of Yele because people are pissed right now. And the last thing he wants is to really reenact this scene.

The 7 Apps You Need
Did you just get a new iDevice? Then put this stuff on it.
With all of those apps, finding the essentials for your new device is truly overwhelming. You've heard this thing does it all, so where do you start? Instead of rattling off a mega-list of "If you like X, then you should download Y," were going to get specific and help you populate that device with seven of the best apps and games you need. And this list will not remain static. We'll keep coming back to it, updating it with new must-have apps and games because there will undoubtedly be no shortage of essentials in 2010 and beyond.

Publisher: Electronic Arts
Price (as of 1/5/10): $6.99
The tilt sensitivity of your iDevice essentially turns the whole thing into a steering wheel controller. Whether or not a game developer uses it well is an entirely different situation. However, Electronic Arts' Need for Speed Shift, one of the very best racers in the App Store, has excellent tilt steering that feels just right. Each degree of tilt is seen on-screen as you weave through a pack of aggressive rivals across a series of racing events. It doesn't hurt that Need for Speed Shift is an absolute looker, too. There simply is no better place to start your iPhone racing career.

Publisher: Pandora Media
Price (as of 1/5/10): Free
Pandora is an unparalleled music source. This Internet radio service is one of the world's most popular music destinations for good reason. It is easy to set up your very own personalized stations to listen to the bands and music genres you like, and the smart DJ creates a playlist. I cannot tell you how many forgotten songs and new bands were introduced to me by Pandora. The iPhone app works just as well as the website, easily streaming music through your device (as long as you have a connection) and its integration with iTunes right on your handheld means you can buy new tracks with just a few taps.

Publisher: Mint Software
Price (as of 1/5/10): Free
Effective money management is more important than ever. If you can trust a single source with access to your accounts, Mint is a revolutionary singular location for monitoring balances and transactions across banks, credit cards, and loans. You can create monthly budgets that update as you spend and with tools like 401K and IRA monitoring, you know when you may want to throttle back a little and save for a rainy day. Sounds boring, right? It's not. There is a security in knowing how money flows in and out of your accounts and having it all on one device with access anywhere – from your bedroom to the restaurant lobby – makes Mint an essential.

Publisher: Dromsynt
Price (as of 1/5/10): $0.99
Squareball won IGN's award for the Best iPhone Game of 2009. That's no small shakes, beating out some heavy hitters. You got an iPhone because you wanted a new device that offered new things, including new ways to interact with entertainment. Squareball is a fresh action-puzzle game that truly feels like it wouldn't work on any other screen. You scroll stages to keep a block from flying out of bounds. It's that simple – but it's not that easy. Squareball gets incredibly hard in its upper levels. The retro charm is undeniable, especially for older folks that grew up with Atari 2600s in the living room. While there are so many typical puzzle games to play on your iPhone, such as Tetris and Bejeweled, you really owe it to yourself to take your new device and try something new with it. Squareball is that kind of game.

Publisher: fringland
Price (as of 1/5/10): Free
You wanted a communications device, right? Then you need the Fring social hub on your iPhone or iPod touch. Fring was initially a great place to manage your instant messenger clients on the iPhone, but it has grown so much in the last year. With push notification, you no longer have to be staring at Fring to know when you're being messaged. Fring also supports calling over WiFi, which is a good way to save serious cash if you make calls anywhere near a hotspot, such as your office. Fring now even supports video calls over WiFi (one-way only) and Twitter friends. Fring really fills a necessary niche on the iDevices – a smart messenger – that will save you time and money.

Publisher: Amazon
Price (as of 1/5/10): Free
Everybody thinks Apple is up to something that will absolutely blow Amazon's e-reader, the Kindle, out of the water. Well, after a boffo 2009 holiday, Amazon has an impressive head start. Amazon was very smart to allow iPhone and iPod touch users access to Kindle books via this simple-to-use app. While the iDevice screen is not as easy on the eyes as the actual Kindle hardware's digital ink screen, this app is the best reader out there right now. Buying and transferring Kindle books to the app is a snap and if you decrease your screen brightness, you can get enough battery mileage out of your iDevice to make it through an entire book. Well, maybe not "War and Peace," but definitely "New Moon."

Publisher: Rock Software
Price (as of 1/5/10): $1.99
There really is an app for everything. There are so many clever apps and programs for the iDevices, but Run Pee really epitomizes the breadth of stuff on the App Store. Here is an app that tells you when it is safe to go to the bathroom (number one, mind you) during a movie so you don't miss any of the good stuff. Run Pee has a timer that lets you know when a "boring part" is coming up and how long you have before you better get your fanny back in that seat. Plus, a quick summary of that specific bathroom break tells you exactly what you may have missed. Of course, firing up your iPhone in the theater to read is frowned upon, so you may want to read when taking care of business. Just make sure you wash.
What are your absolute iPhone essentials? What should be included in the next revision of this list? And what app should be knocked out of the seven? We'll always keep track of which apps were in this list so no great app disappears into the ether. Don't limit your suggestions to games, either. Tell us about a great photo app or comic organization app you found. Maybe it will make the next list.
